  • Australian National University

However, for graduate law programs, you will need a minimum score is 7.0 with at least a 6.0 in each module.

 

  • University of Melbourne

For Under Graduate courses at the University of Melbourne, the required IELTS score is 6.5 or more and with no less than 6.0 in each element. For the master’s courses, the requirement of  IELTS score changes with the study programs. However, the majority of the MA and PhD programs need a minimum overall score of 6.0 to 7.0. 

 

  • University of Sydney

The IELTS requirement for a UG course at the University of Sydney is 6.5 or more and no band less than 6.0. For the graduate program, the IELTS requirements are 7.0 or more with no lower than 6.0. bands in each section of IELTS. 

 

  • University of New South Wales

The IELTS score for both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses at the  University of New South Wales is an overall score of 6.5 with at least 5.5 in each element. 

 

Take note that for an undergraduate business program the applicant needs to have a 6.5 overall test score, and at least 6.0 in each element. For law graduate programs, the IELTS score band is 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.5 in the Writing section and 6.0 in all other sections.

 

  • University of Queensland

To get admission in both UG and PG programs, the minimum overall 6.5 IELTS bands are required with no band lower than 6.0 in each module. 

 

  • Monash University

The IELTS score requirement in Monash University is an overall score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 bands in each element. 

 

  • University of Western Australia

Generally, the University of Western Australia requires a minimum overall score of 6.5 and at least 6.0 in each part for the majority of courses. However, various master’s and doctorate degree courses require a higher score. For example, medical degrees require 7.0 bands in IELTS.

 

  • University of Adelaide

The overall requirement of IELTS band at the University of Adelaide is 6.5 and a minimum of 6.0 bands in all the sections. However, it differs depending on the study program you choose. Candidates with less English language proficiency may need to take extra classes. 

 

  • University of Technology Sydney

The Overall IELTS score at University of Technology Sydney for Undergraduate courses varies from 6.0 to 8.0  with at least 6.0 in each element. For Graduate course the overall score varies from 6.50 to 7.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each element

 

  • The University of Newcastle, Australia (UON)

The minimum IELTS band score requirement for undergraduate courses at the University of Newcastle is 6.5, with a 5.5 in each element. For Graduate courses, the overall score is 6.5 with no less than 6.0 bands in each section.

 

  • Macquarie University

The minimum IELTS score required at Macquarie University is 6.5 bands with no less than 6.0 bands in each element.
