You will study performance, composition, music theory, history and literature, and you will participate in ensembles. You will develop advanced skills with applied study in piano, voice, brass, winds, strings or percussion. You will examine the history of music which will provide you with a rich perspective into music, composers’ lives and their contributions to musical traditions, styles, genres and forms of composition.

Students entering the Bachelor of Arts program, or who are undecided about which program they are interested in, are encouraged to take Foundations of Mathematics 30. Students interested in the Bachelor of Science program are encouraged to take Pre-Calculus 30.
Students can be admitted into this college with a mathematics deficiency but are encouraged to consult the college upon admission to plan how to clear the deficiency.
The high school classes that are required for admission purposes are not always the same as the classes you will need to complete the degree program you choose.
For example, if you want to major in Chemistry, you will need high school Chemistry to take your first year university chemistry classes.
