  • Agricultural Sciences (M.Sc.)
  •  The Master's degree programme in Agricultural Sciences is involved with all questions surrounding the primary production of food for humans and animals as well as renewable raw materials. In the degree programme, you will deal with questions about agriculture as well as its effects on society, the economy and the environment. Our graduates are in a position to define and interpret the specifics, limits, terminology and schools of thought regarding the agricultural sciences.
  • The Master’s programme in Agricultural Sciences is a consecutive Master programme comprising 120 ETS.

    5 compulsory modules of the chosen specialisation with 30 ECTS; 5 elective modules of the chosen specialisation with 30 ECTS; 5 elective modules of the chosen specialisation or 5 elective modules from the complete range of choices for the Master’s programme in Agricultural Sciences or from a related modularized programme with 30 ECTS; Master’s thesis in the 4th semester with 24 ECTS; colloquium with 6 ECTS.

    If the Master’s thesis is written abroad, the number of elective modules is reduced by five. Instead, a preparatory colloquium, a colloquium for the practical part of the thesis and an evaluation colloquium on the field research abroad must be conducted. 10 ECTS credits are given for every colloquium.

    The Master’s programme requires compulsory attendance and uses the following forms of teaching and learning:
    Direct contact courses, seminars, internships, excursions, exercises, work groups and projects

Entry Requirement


  • Applicants must have a bachelors degree in Agricultural Sciences or related field
  • Requirement of professional relevance of previous studies is the detection of at least the following services: services in agricultural sciences, plant sciences, animal sciences, resource management, natural sciences or economics and social sciences
  • Applicant must have a bachelor degree.

Application Process


  • Admission to the Master’s degree programme in Taxation is competitive. Admission into the programme is based on proof of relevance of previous studies.
    Proof of relevance of previous studies

  • A minimum of six semesters of study culminating in a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent course of study with a minimum of 180 ECTS credits in economics or a relevant field.
  • Applicants must have completed at least 150 of the 180 ECTS credits at the time of application. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications that do not meet this requirement.
  • Completed 60 ECTS credits and course work in Business Administration, Economics, and Law including 30 ECTS credits in Finance, Corporate Taxation, Public Finance, Microeconomics, and Law.
  • As part of fulfilling the minimum of 30 ECTS course requirements in Finance, Business Administration, Taxation, Microeconomics and Law:
    • A minimum of 18 ECTS must be completed in either Business Taxation, Finance, or Law
    • A minimum of 18 ECTS from the modules must be from coursework that is of intermediate or advanced levels
  • A minimum of 12 ECTS credits completed in Mathematics, Statistics, or Econometrics.
  • Proof of relevant language skills

  • If you have not completed your degree at the time of application, the current average score will be calculated.
  • For courses to be considered intermediate or advanced, the course content must clearly go beyond introductory or basic concepts.
  • Determining the relevance of previous studies for the M.Sc. Taxation programme will be based on the documents enclosed in the application (see: "Required application documents").
  • The selection process is a two-stage process. The initial selection round will evaluate candidates based on their written application. The second round will evaluate candidates based on personal interviews.
