Application Process

Prepare documents for application

  • LOR: Two letter of recommendation is required
  • ESSAY: Students needs to submit 300-350 words on one of the following essay topics
    • Describe the achievement of which you are most proud and why
    • Tell us about your career goals and why attending NYIT would further these goals

Additional documents required

  • Standard X, Standard XI and Standard XII exam results
    • If Standard XII results are not available, predicted grades are required
    • For students who did not complete Standard XI and Standard XII, Standard X and SAT/ACT scores are required
  • Optional: Official SAT (critical reading and math only) or ACT test scores
  • Official SAT (Critical Reading and Math only) required for B.S Mechanical Engineering and B.S Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS scores)
  • Submit completed Affidavit of Support and bank statement with amount of $55,00
